This excellent group photograph of David H. G. Wardlaw and his brothers William and Samuel was posted to Findagrave by Dianne Wardlaw. All three men were members of Company F – the Gwinnett Independent Blues – of the 24th Georgia Infantry and none of them survived the War.

David was mortally wounded at Crampton’s Gap on South Mountain on 14 September 1862 and died of wounds on 1 October 1862 in Burkittsville, MD.
