Sergeant Frank H. Mundy, Company B, 11th Alabama Infantry was in action at Sharpsburg in September 1862 and commissioned 2nd Lieutenant soon after. He was captured at Gettysburg in July 1863 and spent the rest of the war a prisoner.

He’s seen here in an engraving from a photograph with his death notice in the Confederate Veteran Magazine, Volume 5 (1897).
