The Confederate Rolls of South Carolina were compiled over about 35 years after the war by the several South Carolina Adjutants General and the Historians of the Confederate Records. Also known as the Memory Rolls, these were gathered from veterans as well as official documents. There are gaps, omissions, and errors, but there are also many soldiers listed here and no where else.

The complete extant set has been scanned and put online by the Walker Local and Family History Center at the Richland (SC) Library.
