Private Don Octave Allen (right) of Company F, 111th Pennsylvania Infantry was wounded by a gunshot to his knee at Antietam in September 1862 and was discharged for disability in January 1863. He was a railroad engineer in Ohio and Florida after the war.
His photograph was contributed to his Findagrave memorial by Thomas Jeremiason.
